Overall, there was an increase in the price of brown, white, and rye bread, while wholegrain bread witnessed a drastic fluctuation. In addition, brown bread had the highest figures throughout the period.
Regarding wholegrain bread, the price started at 0.8 in 2001, after which it experienced a sharp rise in 2002, recording 1.8. Afterward, the price witnessed a considerable decline, before ending the period at 0.8 in 2005.
The figure for brown bread was 0.6 in 2001. It moved in parallel with rye and white bread, reaching a peak at 1.6 in 2003. Then the price fluctuated marginally, registering at 1.6.
0.6 Euros was the price of white bread in2001, then it experienced a twofold rise in 2004, before ending the period at 1.5 in 2005. Similar changes, but to a lesser extent, can be seen in the figure for rye bread from 2002 to 2005, which increased from 0.5 to 0.7.
