As can be seen from the table, the house is the most chosen residence type both in the three regions in five years period showed. However, it become the more populated in Victoria and in the Nor which the figure increased from 81.1% to 83.5% and 67.6% to 71.1% respectively. On the other hand, in Tasmania the percentage of citizens living in house dropped significantly by 10%. The second favorited dwelling in Victoria and the Nor in the first period was Duplex/Semi-detached house although it replaced by Flat in the next 5 years in Victoria. By contrast, the Duplex/Semi-detached house which placed in the third favorited in Tasmania become more popular in 2006, as be seen the figure rose considerably from 3.9% to 14.4%. Finally, the other type of residence chosen the least by people in the three regions. It showed that only 2.4% or less people living there in 2001 and not more that 1% in 2006
