The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The chart gives the cost of a country’s export in different scopes from 2015 to 2016 and the table illustrates the proportion vary in each field of export in 2016 compared with 2015.
Overall, it can easily be seen that the price of gems and jewellery in 2016 had the peak figure, about 64% and the lowest value belonged to the field of textiles with only under 30%. Regarding the table given, the distinct feature is the decline in percentage of gems and jewellery.
To put the chart in detail, the price of engineered goods and textiles had a bold disparity with approximately 5% and 6% respectively. The opposite was true for the remaining categories except for the gems and jewellery. This field was quite different from others because its figure in 2015 was higher than that of 2016, which resulted in the variance of this category in the table below.
Regarding the table given, as I have mentioned above, all the figures went up other than that of the gems and jewellery, it went into freefall. By contrast, the percentage of Textiles shot up with 15,24% and the remaining fields rose gradually. To sum up, the export income of this nation developed stably.
