The given bar charts illustrate the performance of a bus company in terms of punctuality in two aspects, both in reality and target. Moreover, they also perform the statistic about number of complaints from passengers in five continuing years, started from 1999.
Overall, it is observed that four out of five years the company didn’t succeed in punctuality. In contrast, number of complaints per thousand passenger journeys was showing the increasing.
In 2000, it is clear that the company had set a higher target more 4 percent than actual, while they only achieved 82 percent of services arriving on time. Nevertheless, 2003 is the only year standed out of the initial target for 0,5 per cent higher (at first the company just pretended to achieve 84,5 percent). In the years 1999, 2001 and 2002, the company perform less than they though roughly between 0,5 and 1 percent. In those years, they tried to get 85 to 86 percent for on time arrivals.
On the other side, the number of complaints are seems to be increased through 4 years. In 1999, passengers were less getting trouble with the company’s services, only 65 thousands passenger journeys unpleased with the experience. However, 2003 recorded the highest number of complaints from passengers (120 thousands journeys). While in 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2003 we see the decrease of comfortable evaluations, in 2001, the complaints was slightly dropped, just about 90 thousand journeys (in 2000 was 100 thousands journeys). But by the following year (in 2002), the statistic was increased again, about 110 thousand journeys.
In conclusion, the bus service is seems to be worst and increased little every year.
