The table illustrates the values of kiwi fruit from New Zealand exports to five nations, including Japan, China, Mexico, Russia, and Saudi Arabia from 2010 to 2012.
As can be seen from the table, it is evident that almost five nations witnessed a dramatic increase in consuming kiwi fruit throughout the examined period. Noticeably, Japan was the most prominent country consuming the largest kiwi fruit, whereas Saudi Arabia imported the slightest kiwi fruit from New Zealand.
Looking at the table, in 2010, exports of kiwi fruit to Japan were accounting for the highest figure, with more than 270 million dollars, nearly three times greater than China and ten times that of Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, exports to both Mexico and Russia generated less revenue, with 1.2 million dollars for the former and 968,000 dollars for the latter.
In the next two years, exports to Japan experienced a significant increase and totalled more than 325 million dollars. Surprisingly, there witnessed a considerable rise in terms of three nations China, Mexico, and Russia, standing at 94 million dollars, 3.3 million dollars, and 2.4 million dollars, respectively. Regarding Saudi Arabia, however, the value of Kiwi exports had only decreased to 106,000, and by 2012, it had reached 82,000 dollars.
