The given bar chart illustrates the stress symptoms reported by survey partakers in the month prior to the survey which was conducted.
Overall, the adult group took up higher percentages in all categories, except for the wanting-to-cry one. It is also noticeable that the proportions of the teenagers in the wanting-to-cry and increasing stress levels are the same.
As regards the first 3 categories, there are is similar pattern in both groups of participants, with the percentages of the adults higher than those of the teenagers. The symptoms of anger, nervousness and tiredness among the adults are about 2 percent larger than those in the other group.
In terms of the remaining categories, there are some differences. About the wanting-to-cry one, the percentage of the children group was around 3 percent higher than that of the adult group. However, the stress levels in the older group is far higher, becoming the category with the largest proportion among the 5 symptoms. The figure for the teenagers in this section is equal to the wanting-to-cry one, at over 30%.
