The bar charts illustrate how many graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work did after leaving college in the UK in 2008.
Overall, the data of graduates examined is tenfold than postgraduates. In addition, the number who joined in further study were the most highest work that both graduates and post graduates, while voluntary work attracted the least in the surveys.
It can be seen that graduate students were interested in further study, which the number reached at around 30,000. Post graduates had a similar change, but to lesser extent at 2,725 students. Followed the figure of further study was the data of part-time work, which exacty 17,735 graduate students and 2,535 post graduates.
The less drew activity was voluntary work for both two groups of students, arrived at a lowest point in the bar charts (3,500 for graduates and 345 for post graduates). The third place of the four categories in two bar charts was unemployment, which showed by the figure 16,235 for graduate students and one-tenth for post graduate students.
