To sum up, the total number of visitors was increasing steadily. Additionally, there were also different degrees of climb of that in specific places, which are cruise ships and island.
The total rise of the number of tourists who came to visit the Caribbean island is magnificent.
During the first five years witnessed a consistently grow from 1millions in 2010 to about 2.75millions before leveling off between 2015 to 2016, followed by a surge to 3.5 until 2017.
On the other hand, the number of visitors who stayed on cruise ships and on island had experienced a less fierce climb during from 2010 to 2017. The population of visitors staying on island kept stable, which is 0.75millions. However, before a fluctuate between 2013 to 2017 at 1.5million, there were a gradually grow between 2011 and 2012. Similarly, populations in 2010 starting at 0.25millions of visitors who stay on cruise ships, a slight climb of almost 0.25millions could be found, followed by a same level of decline next year. After that, from 2012 to 2017 experienced a steady increase.
