Essay topics:

The chart below shows the number of households in the US by their annual income in 2007, 2011 and 2015. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Given is a graph depicting the American families' yearly income in three years: 2007, 2011 and 2015.
From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that in 2007 and 2015, the number of household in US earning more than 100000$ was the highest among those five types of income. Additionally, in the year 2011, most families gained from 25000 dollars to 50000 dollars per year.
Considering the bar graph more closely, we can obtain that in all three aforementioned years, the data of households that had annual income of 75000$ to 100000$ were ranked last with no more than 15 millions. Besides, the second least common type of income is the group of 50 thousand dollars to 75 thousand dollars, which was approximately 20 millions families in 2007, 2011 and 2015.
It is also worth noting that the gap between three remain groups was lessened. The number of families having the annual salary of less than 25000$ was nearly the same as that of 25000 to 50000 dollars a year, which ranged from 25 to 30 millions in all 3 years. Moreover, in 2007 and 2015, the figure for more than 100000$ income was the largest among those five categories with 30 millions and 34 millions respectively. However, in 2011, this data was a bit lower than the number of households having an annual income of less than 25000 and 25000-50000$ to be 27 millions in that year.
