The bar chart depicts how many tourists using three types of airports in New York City from 1995 to 2000. Overall, the number of visitors using Newark and LaGuardia airports rose, while the figure for John F airport fluctuated. It is also clear that the LaGuardia was the most popular airport over the period of 6 years.
In 1995, New York City witnessed the highest level of visitors using LaGuardia airport, at approximately 35 million of passengers. Jonh F Kennedy was the second with just above 25 million of passengers and only 15 million of passengers using Newark airport. By 1997, the number of travellers using John F Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark had risen steadily, at just over 45 million and just over and under 40 million of passengers respectively.
During three years later, LaGaurdia airport, which was the most widely enjoyed, saw a significant increase in the number of travellers with a peak at 70 million of passengers in 2000. In contrast, the number of travellers using John F Kennedy and Newark airports had remained stable over the period of 3 years, despite a drop of 30 million of passengers using John F Kennedy airport in 1999.
