The chart show data on the number of the UK citizens visits other countries and people travelled visits the UK during two decades in 1979-1999. According to the first chart. People can see, the UK residents visits abroad is much higher than overseas came to the UK.
Looking at the detail, people who was travelled to the UK around 10 million and the UK citizens visit outside countries was almost 20 million in 1979. Both of the numbers control on increasing continuously till 1985 ,and after that both of those group are increasing strongly although the numbers of UK residents had more speedy than travellers visits the UK. The UK counted almost 55 million in 1999 while over 20 million travellers came to the UK. It shown the UK travellers is more double higher than people visits the UK.
Thr second bar graph show the number of countries visited by the UK citizens in 1999. France was the first dominated the UK travellers as favorite country destination. It calculated over 10 million people in this year. The second country was spain where about 8 million the UK travellers. The last three countries visited by the UK citizens were the USA, greece and turkey. They were counted fewer than 5 million the UK visitors in 1999.
