The table below compares the average number of vehicles using three roads.

The table compares three roads, Harper lane, Great york way and Long- lane in terms of the number of vehicles on these roads over a period of ten years from 1993 to 2002.

Overall, it can be seen that vehicles on the all the three roads increased over the period. However, the quantity of vehicle on Long- lane roads shows a dramatic increase, when compared to other two roads.

Harper lane and Great york way roads have a similar trend in the rise of the number of vehicles. In 1993, the number of vehicles on Harper road was 83. Between 1993 and 1998 it increased at a faster rate and reached a peak at 915 in the year of 1998. From 1999 onwards it fell dramatically and reached a figure of 193 at the end of the period. Similarly, vehicles count on Great york way also rose up and touched a peak figure 911 in the year of 911. But this figure dropped nominally and reached 900 in the year of 2002.

when turning to the figures of Long- line road, the number of vehicles went up significantly during the period, without any fluctuation. In the middle of the period, in 1997, it hit 638 from 400 in 1993. And there was a dramatic increase between 1997 and 2002 and reached 1400 at the end of the period. The vehicles in this roads increased more than three -fold during the period, which is far higher than the other two.
