The bar graphs show the main purposes why students studying by different age groups and the percentage of them get supported from their employers.
It is clear that student tend to study for their interests more as they get older, while the percentage for career pupose shows contradiction. Additionally, employees under 26 years old are more likely to receive help from their bosses than other age groups.
80% of respondents under 26 choose career as their main purpose of studying, compared to only 10% of students study for interest. However, this trend tends to change when students get older. In the group of students aged from 40 to 49, students equally vote for career and interest as the reasons they studying, at 40% respectively. There are 70% of students aged over 49 choose interest as their main purpose of studying, while career is only chosen by almost 20% of students.
It is interesting to note that almost 65% of students aged under 26 received help from their employers while studying, while the proportion of 30-39 age group is significantly lover, at only around 30%.
