You live in a room in college which you share with another student.
However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it
very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter,
-describe the situation
-explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
-say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
Dear Madam, I am writing you to tell about the problem with an accomodation I live in and another student I live with. There are several problems with accomodation, such as its location and convenience (bed, light, noise from the outside). Also a student, I am living with, always comes back drunk. I just cannot live with such a person. I hate alcohol.
As for the problems, the accomodation is located far from the university I am studying at. Also I have got a problem with my bed. Actually, it is broken down into 2 pieces, so I have to sleep on the floor. We have got only one lamp for two of us. Finally, the noise from the outside makes too difficult to learn other languages. The student I am living with, as I said, is always drunk and I saw drugs on his table. He is too creepy for me. I do not want to call the police because I do not want to have any problems. If you can deal with it, do something.
I would prefer an accomodation somewhere nearby my university because it takes too long before I get to my lessons. I do not care about type of accomodation, but the only thing I would ask is living alone. Surely, I would like to have a taut bed, at least 3 lamps for best lighting and good noise-isolation windows, so I could prepare for the lessons well.
Thank you for your help.
Best regards, Steven.
