Dear Mr Brown,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am intending to write this letter with regards to the voluntary work that I have been performing to assist the local people through your organisation. The problem is that from next week onward I will not be able to to do it any longer. Allow me to elaborate the situation that led me to take this decision.
To begin with, being a Software Engineer, I was handling the Accounts department from past two years which was indeed a huge responsibility as it was to manage all the payments, taxes and donations etc. Although, I am glad to be a part of this fantastic group because it really enhanced my experience and endurance. However, I got a new job in Delhi which is not only offering me better wages in contrast to my current job here but also giving me a promotion. Hence, I will be moving to Delhi next week.
Since, I will not be there to continue rendering my services, I would like to suggest a very reliable and diligent friend of mine who is an Accountant too and is eager to join your organisation. He will be free on weekends and on public holidays, I have attached his resume with this letter for your convenience. It is my firm belief that he will be the best person for this work.
Looking forward to your prompt reply.
Yours faithfully,
John
