The double bar graph illustrates, information regarding amount of leisure time enjoyed by men and women of different employment status during 1989 to 1999. Overall, it can be seen that unemployed and retired people enjoyed most with males surpassing females.
To begin with, in full time employed category men and women had minimum amount of time for leisure activities about 50 hours a week for males and 38 hours for females which is least among all categories. Part time employed females had about 40 hours of enjoyment time per week, while housewifes got 50 hours of leisure time. In both unemployed and retired categories both males and females had a tremendous amount of time for recreational activities with females enjoying 78 hours whereas, males about 90 hours per week. In general males got about 20 more hours of enjoyment then opposite gender.
