The mentioned three pie charts reveal the information about the budget spent by a particular UK school in different categories in three different years: 1981, 1991, and 2001.
Overall, the teacher’s salaries were dominant among the other categories while insurance had the lowest proportion of budgets allocated.
It is evident that teacher salaries had accounted the rate of 40%, 50% and 45% in the year 1981, 1991 and 2001 respectively which was the highest proportion in all the years. Likewise, other workers salaries saw a rate of 28% in 1981, 22% in 1991 and just 15% in 2001. Moreover, resources like books had encountered a fluctuating trend since it was 15% in 1981, 20% in 1991, and 9% in 2001.
Looking in more details, we can see that furniture and equipment had also shown ups and down trend. It was slightly decreased from 15 % to 5 % in the year 1991, but it was drastically increased to 23% in 2001. However, insurance experienced the percentage of steadily lower than 10% in all the year. In fact, it was 10% which was highest in the year 2001.
