In general, it is evident that while Japan individual spent on other products and services the most, housing was spent on the most in Malaysia.
Regarding Japan, the data on other products and services was the highest, at 29%, while that on health care saw a reverse trend, only 3%. Interesting, the figure on for food made up a quarter of the total expenses. Housing and Transport was the same, indicated by 21% and 20%, respectively.
As can be seen from Malaysia’s charts, a majority of family spent on housing, indicated 34%. In terms of other products and services and food, they spent on the same, with the data accounting for 26% and 27%, respectively. 10% of family expenditures was interested in transport and 3% of that was health care, which was the lowest of total expenses.
