According to the information bar, it is clearly seen that the amount of males purchasing pop music albums was more than females, precisely they indicate 23 % and 14 % respectively. Meanwhile, in terms of buying rock music men were also domineering with approximately 10 % more people than females, whilst this difference becomes less, about 3 % on the third chart showing the percentages of people who buy classical music.
It is also observed that, in Britain 25- 34 aged people prefer to buy pop music, followed by 16-24 and 35-44 aged people. Similar pattern is illustrated on the proportion of people choosing classical music. In comparison with other groups, people with 45 and over are more likely to listen to classical music whereas only 2 % and 4 % of people aged 16-24 and 35-44 listen to this type accordingly.
