Some people believe that there should be fixed punishment for each type of crime. Others, however, argue that the circumstances of an individual crime and the motivation for commiting it, should always be taken into account when deciding on the punishment.
Discuss both these view and give your own opinion

Nowadays, the level of punishment for every crime are quite fair. While some people argue that should be fixed punishment for every kind of crime. The crime happen with all motives behind it and the reasons for doing it. All crimes must be decided on the court, because some person doing the crime with pressure from others and some were admit it on coincidence.

To begin with, in order to judge one crime, several motives must acknowledge first, the reasons for doing the crime are the basic consideration before punishing someone. Firstly, possibility of pressure from other person. For example, this kind of crime was happen because some criminals kidnap his family, and in order to save his family he must steal the data from his office or give some ransoms from stealing money. Secondly, coincidence situation. For example, the person who coincidencely hit somebody in the street without any purpose, and if a victim party sue him, this situation will get tolerance from the judge. For both things above, it is very unfair if the fugitive must admit same punishment same like others with clearly criminal motives.

However, fixed punishment is very necessary to avoid all corruption and nepotism among the court, as can be seen, many judges in development countries still corrupt, they will took a lot of money from the criminal family in order to minimize the punishment. Fixed punishment also very important to prevent nepotism, the level of punishment will be affected when the judges know the fugitive.

In conclusion, the circumstances for all crimes must be consider what motives and purposes behind, wise decisions are made based upon it.
