The figure shows the percentage of people in the USA and Canada and Mexico who used internet since 1999 to 2009.

As can be seen, all graphs had an increase by large during those ten years, however with different rates. A jump after 2001 in Canadian internet users caused them to become more than Americans who were leaders at the first. Although they reached the same point in 2005. But again faster rise in Canadian users led them to stay on top of the category at the end of survey, with almost 100% internet users of population. While during whole this period of time the access to internet among Mexicans was far less than 2 other countries, with a growth about 10% to 40%.

No drops can be observed but during some times the rate of increase went down and became more or less steady.

In summary, the number of internet users had significant upturn in all 3 aforementioned countries. Nevertheless, the Mexican users were much fewer than Americans and Canadians.
