The bar chart indicates a survey on the elements that influence worker’s performance, with the figures for two groups of workers: 18-30 age and 45-60 age group.
Overall, is it clear that some aspects share the same result in both two age groups. In term of salary, both show nearly the same proportion at 75%. Similar results have been witnessed in team spirit at 70%, and in work environment at only 30%, while some other factors such as chance for personal development, relaxed working environment and promotion prospects witnesses significant differences.
Regarding the group aged between 18 and 30, self-promotion opportunities, comfortable working environment and promotion prospects are the most vital considerations. The work performance of younger worker depends mostly on personal development opportunities, at more than 80%, which is as twice as that of older group. Similarly, relaxed working environment factor account for nearly 75% of the result of people in 18-30, compared to only 35% for that of the elderly. Other considerable gaps have been observed in the promotion prospect and job security affecting more young workers.
Furthermore, while the second age group has a tendency to focus the most on salary, job security has the smallest effect on their performances, with the approximately 50% gap.
