The bar chart below reveals proportion of the total spends on Food, Housing, Transportation, Health care and Clothing in four countries. Units are measured in percentages.
Overall, the sector of Housing was the highest among all countries except Japan, whereas, food occupied main expenditure. Health care and Clothing accounted for the lowest figure in compare to other four categories.
In housing area, only the US showed just more than 25%, while other three varied between 20% and 25%. In terms of Transportation, Canada spend a fifth on this as opposed to exactly 17.5%, 15% and 10% (the US, the UK and Japan respectively). The expenditure on Food in Japan (23%) was higher than the United Kingdom (20%), Canada (15%) and the United States (fewer than 15%).
In one of the lowest sectors, Health care, the percentage of the US was the most in contrast to the least figure of the UK. Additionally, Canada and Japan allocate the equal money to Health care with approximation of 5%. In the second lowest sphere, Clothing, all countries differed from 4 to 6 percent.
