The two bar charts provide the information about consumption of energy sources of USA and UK percentage wise in the years 2000 and 2006.
Overall, at the beginning of the period, consumption of oil was the highest percentage for the USA and coal was the majority for the UK. However, at the end of the period, oil remaining the highest consumed with almost half of the percentage in USA and gas was the highest used by UK.
The consumption of gas was around a quarter in UK and 15% in USA in the year 2000 and experienced a growth of about 40% in UK and 35% in USA by 2006. Moreover, the consumption of oil and other renewable resources were remained almost unchanged in both the years.
In converse, the coal consumption is almost one-third in UK and USA being at around 35% in 2000, but in the year 2006 the consumption of coal experienced downward trend to about 14% in UK and 25% in USA, similarly, the nuclear power fell from around 15% in UK and 10% in USA to around 8% in UK and 6% in USA after 6-year period.
