The graph shown here depicts the comparison between Malaysia and Singapore in terms of science qualifications.
It is seen that both the countries have equally qualified Masters personnel whereas Singapore has almost twice as bachelor graduates as Malaysia which can be interpreted as their disinterest in further research in the field. Students who take science as their school leaving exams are 5% more in Malaysia. the same trend can be seen for the people who do not have any qualification for science in the two countries. however, it can be observed that more than half of the population for the both the countries are do not have any science qualification.
The overall trend shows that though there are more students who take science exams at the end of their school in Malaysia, they don't actually go for further studies in the subject. On the contrary although the quantity is lesser for the same in Singapore, they equal Malaysia with the same number of Masters qualified people.
