The chart below shows changes in three different areas of crime in the manchester city center from 2003 to 2012

The line chart gives information about how the tendency of three kinds of lawbreaking changed in Manchester from 2003 to 2012.

Overall, While there was a significant downward trend in the number of Burglaries, those automobile thefts and robberies showed slight fluctuations in the given time.

Despite being the most alarming issue in Manchester, the number of burglars in this city plummeted to hit a trough at almost 1,000 cases before a marginal rise from under 3,500 cases to a peak at over that starting point in 2004. From 2008 onwards, it increased negligibly to 1,500 and kept hovering around this level.

Between 2003 and 2009, the figure for car thefts was volatile at a tiny extent, with a range from 2,000 to 2,500 cases. In the next few years, this data was seen upward albeit fitfully, reaching its peak at under 3,000 cases. In sharp contrast, robbery proved to be the least concerning problem in the chart with the data being erratic between 500 and 1,000. The peak of it was recorded only in 2,005.
