The chart illustrates the number of males and female on whether they take half-time or full-time education between the years 1970/71 til 1990/91.
Overall,it can be clearly seen that most students decided to take their study part-time but the trend of full-time education has gained more popularity over the years
For men,the number who opted for studying part-time started out at 1000 thousands while woman sit at only 700 thousand.After that,In 1980/21,the trends seem to be quite contrast to each other.While the numbers rise up by 100 thousands for women,whereas men's numbers dropped down at a higher rate,decreased to only around 850 thousands.In the final years,the number of over 1100 thousands females pretty much dominated the males by a 400 thousand difference.
Now onto the full-time education figures,both male and female numbers rose up gradually but the men's number increased gradually from 100 to 200 thousands.It is difference for women whose increased rate was really high,starting out at only 50 thousands and reaching the same amount of students in the same year(1990/1991)as the male.
