The bar chart compares the proportion of money spent on health among GDP in five nations in 2002
Overall, it is clear that the total spending on health had the highest percentage in the five countries, and Americans paid a large amount of money for health.
It is noticeable that Italy, France, and Germany had the similar figures in the chart. People in these three countries paid less money for the private health, approximately 3%, just 2%, and nearly 4% respectively. In terms of the public spending, the percentage of these figures were blow 10%.
Looking at Japan and USA, the percentage of total spending in Japan is about 1% more than that in USA, at 14%. The public spending between these two countries was similar, at almost 10% and 10% respectively. However, it is worth noting that the proportion of money spent by Americans on private health researched to 12%, which was the highest one compared with other four countries.
