Given is a bar chart depicting the proportion of people accessing news through multiple media in a country in a period of 4 years, commencing from 2013.
Perceptibly, the percentage of people taking news from TV accounted for by far the highest proportion while the opposite was true for radio and newspapers.
In terms of the percentage of television and internet news takers, the proportion of people watching news on television initiated at 79% before marginal deflating by 10% in 2015. The last 2 years brought a moderately escalation in this proportion to 71%. Meanwhile, the percentage of people catching news on radio which was recorded 31% in 2015 shrinked diminutively by 1% before staying plateau in the latter half of the period.
Regarding the remaining media, the proportion of Internet news takers surged uninterruptedly through the 4-year-period commenced from 31% to 40% in 2015 and reached its zenith at 79% in the last year. Meanwhile, the opposite was true for the newspapers’ figure with 41% recorded at first and only 21% in 2017.
