The chart below shows the result of a survey about people's coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
The diagram illustrates the proportion of citizens of five Australian metropolitans in the aspects of purchasing and consuming coffee and tea in the recent 4 weeks. Overall, going to a cafe for coffee or tea sector took the lead in most locations, otherwise, buying fresh coffee was the least chosen option in all 5 cities.
Looking closely at the diagram, fresh-coffee purchasing was the least chosen option in the group. Brisbane saw the lowest statistics when it only reached roughly 34%, the highest figure for this option was recorded in Sydney, the place in which around 44% of people chose to buy fresh coffee.
The areas of buying instant coffee and going to a café for coffee or tea showed a more positive trend. The numbers of these were not under 45% in all surveyed urban areas, and the latter option took the lead in the behavior of people in most places, with the highest peak of approximately 64%. Only Adelaide was exceptional when the percentage of people buying instant coffee there reached just under 50%, which is slightly higher than the statistic of the former at around 1%.
