The bar graph provides information about the amount of export earnings from 5 different categories in a nation over one year period, between 2015 and 2016, also, the table gives data on the percentage of value change in each export category in the same nation during the same period.
Overall, it can be seen that the amount of export earnings from petroleum products was the highest in two separate years, whereas export earnings from textiles was the lowest. In addition, according to the table, the amount of exports earnings value in all categories between 2015 and 2016 showed an upward trend, except for gems and jewellery.
Looking to the graph in more detail, it is evident that the amount of export earnings from petroleum products stood at just over 60 billion $ (b$) in 2015, followed by engineered goods at about 58 b$. The former increased to around 62 b$ in 2016 and the latter rose significantly to 61 b$. Export earnings from gems and jewellery stood at around 44 b$ in 2015. By 2016, this figure had decreased to 41 b$. Export earnings from agricultural products and textiles increased from just over 30 b$ and around 26 b$ to about 32 b$ and approximately 31 b$ from 2015 to 2016, respectively.
Turning to the table, it is clear that the percentage of value change in textiles category was the highest, at 15.24%. Gems and jewellery is the only category which showed a downward trend, at 5.18%. The percentage of value change in agricultural products was the lowest, at 0.81%.
