The chart shows the average daily minimum and maximum levels of air pollutants in 4 cities 2000.
The graph gives information about the minimums and the maximum amount of two air pollutants per day regarding four big cities in 2000.
Looking from an overall perspective, Mexico city was responsible for the highest statistics in all segments. Whereas the levels of SO2 in Calcutta and Bejing were well ahead of No2, the reverse pattern was witnessed in Mexico City and Los Angeles.
In terms of daily SO2 released, this figure varied around 1 and 10 in Los Angeles, whilst it touched the minimum level in Mexico City at 55, as twofold less than the upper one. Also noteworthy is the fact that although kept a lower amount of the average minimum at precisely 25, Bejing still overstanding Calcutta in the climax level with approximately 125 and 57, respectively.
On the other hand, in Mexico City, at least 110 micrograms of NO2 can be found per day, nearly two times less than the peaks. Calcutta and Bejing had a similar top level of NO2 released at 50, but the disparity between them was 25 micrograms with 50 micrograms for the former. Turn to Los Angeles, which had the highest level on average of No2 amounted to 100 micrograms, released no less than 50 micrograms a day. That proves the most polluted atmosphere in four cities was presenced in Mexico city.
