The bar graphs illustrates, the comparison of age groups of male and female got married in two different years (1996 and 2008) in one country. Units are measured in percentage.
Overall, the highest percentage of males got married in the age of 25 to 29 in both years. Whereas, in 2008, the top most female marriage age was 30 to 34 which is two times higher than 1996.
Regarding the male age of 20 to 24 people got married approximately 6% and 3 % in 1996 and 2008 respectively. After the preferred age of 25 to 29, the marriage age ratio was declined to 7% ( 30 to 34 ) in 1996 which is 1% lower than 2008. In 1996, four percentage of 35 to 39 age groups got married, whereas, in 2008 which is about 5%. Similarly, age of 40 to 44, mere 2% in 1996 and about 3% in 2008 was the marriage age. Moreover, people getting married in 16 to 20 years was less than 1% in both years.
However, in 20 to 24 years married women was lower than 3% in both years. In 1996, females getting married in age of 25 to 34 was relatively stable with approximately 7%. In comparison, more than 10% of females got married in the age of 30 to 34 in 2008 which is decreased to 9% when it comes 35 to 39. Furthermore, females under the age of 44 getting married in about 5% and 7% in 1996 and 2008 respectively.
