The pie chart compares three main usages of water among six different regions all over the world.
It is noticeable that a significant larger percentage of water is spend on agriculture than other two purposes in those four regions:Africa, central asia, Southeast asia and South america. Also, approximately half of the water is used on industrial purpose in other two areas: north america and europe.
Surprisingly, more than three quarters of water is accounted for agricultural use in mentioned 4 areas, while the equivalent figure for north america and europe is lower than 40%, which is 39% and 32% respectively. The highest proportion of water used in agriculture was 88% in central asia, and the figure for industrial used water is always the minority in Africa.
