The two pie charts compare the percentages of students who were capable of other languages besides English in British in the year 2000 and 2010.
Overall, students speaking only Spanish language occupied the largest part in both years. There were dramatic increases in the number of students who could speak Spanish and one or two other languages while no other and French witnessed sharply drop.
Looking at the information in more details, we can see that 30% of students were able to communicate in Spanish in 2000, this figure grew by 5% in 2010. Similarly, another language and two other languages made up 15% and 10% in 2000 before experiencing burst to 20% and 10% in 2010 respectively.
It was only German that remained steady over the span of 10 years, at one in ten. No other language reduced by a half from 20% in 2000 to 10% in 2010. Furthermore, French consisted of 15% in 2000, and dropped by a third in 2010.
