It is clear that most of graduate and postgraduate students in the UK decided to continue further education after leaving college, while the number of students who chose voluntary work was lowest. In addition, the number of postgraduate students who joined in part-time work was higher than that of graduate students.
In terms of graduate students, the number of students decided to further study was highest, at 29,665 while the opposite was true for voluntary work, at 3,500. Meanwhile, the figure for students who chose part-time work or unemployment was nearly the same at around 16,000 to 17,000.
In terms of postgraduate students, the number of students joined in voluntary work was lowest, at 345, while the number of students who joined part-time work and further study was 2,535 and 2,725 respectively. At the same, the figure for unemployment was slightly lower at 1,625.
