The charts show world pineapple exports by the top three pineapple-producing countries in 2009 and 2019, and a breakdown of the cost to the consumer of each pineapple in 2019.
The bar chart evaluates the amount of metric tonnes pineapple that country A, country B and country C could export in millions in 2009 and 2019, and the pie chart compared the proportions of cost to the buyers each pineapple between 7 categories in 2019. Overall, the initial impression is that the most exported country in 2019 was country A and most of the cost was distributed to distribution & retail.
The amount of pineapples exports in Country A was about 1 millions in 2009, which was 3 millions fewer than that of exported pineapples in country B in the same year. However, between 2009 and 2019, a dramatically growth was witnessed in the number of pineapples metric tonnes exports, which stood at more than 10 millions. That number was about 5 times higher than that of produced pineapples exports in Country B, which was 2 millions. Meanwhile, Country C had witnessed an unremarkable amount of pineappple exports during the whole period.
In 2019, the proportions of the cost for producer and export costs was 5% and 4%, respectively. 12% of the funding was alloted for international transport, whichw as 2% higher than that of import licenses. Distribution & retail was the most funding category in 2019 with 35%, which doubled the proportions of the cost for profit. The distribution of the funding to the taxes accounted for 16%.
