The climograph illustrates the average of temperature and rainfall in Kolkata city throughout the year.
The heavy rainfall shows peak limit upto 325mm in july and august followed by a decrease of 25mm in september. A sudden decline upto 250mm is reported in october followed by two months of scanty rainfall. From january the trend of rain shows a slight increase upto the april reaching 50mm of precipitation from 10mm in former month which further continues with drastic increase in may and june with 100mm and 250mm respectively.
The temperature remains stable from april to october varying from 28 degree celsius to 30 degree celsius. However the decline in temperature from 28 degree celsius to 20 degree celsius is seen in october to december and an opposite trend from 20 degree celsius to 28 degree celsius is reported from january to march.
The city of kolkata experiences a variable trend of rain from heavy rainfall to scanty rainfall but there is little variation seen in temperature in all months.
