The given graph represents the average temperature and rainfall rate in the city of Kolkata from the month of January to December.
Overall, the precipitation rate and the temperature ratio were fluctuated over the period. The maximum precipitation received in the month of July and the minimum precipitation was in December. While,the highest temperature was in May, the lowest was in January.
The precipitation rate fluctuated from January. But,the maximum amount of precipitation received in Kolkata in July accounted for 340mm, which is followed by 325mm in August and 290mm in September. The precipitation rate was near to 10 mm in january and gradually increased to 251mm at the end of June, whereas, after the significant rise from June to July, which dramatically declined from 290mm to 10mm from September to December.
While analysing the temperature ratio,the hottest moth was May with the temperature rate of 32 degree centigrade, followed by 30 in april as well as in June. The minimum temperature was in January and in december of 20 degree centigrade. However, after january, there were a gradual rise in the temperature and reached at the maximum in May, there after, temperature rate declined drastically and came back to the similar point at 20 degree centigrade in december.
