The diagrams give information about how the infrastructure at West Park Secondary School changed from 1950 to 2010.
Overall, in a time span of 60 years, the size of the school main building remained while houses and farmland were replaced by car park and science block.
In details, in 1950, the measure of space for houses, school building, farmland and playground were quite equal, each was 25% of the whole. The biggest changes in 1980 were that car park and science block were created and replaced the houses, at the same time, the farmland became a sports field.
30 years later, the main building of the school still remained its size as large as it was in 1980. In contrast, the car park was extended and filled the space of sports field to become the largest. The size of playground was reduced by about 30 percent because of a sharing space for sports field.
