The diagrams give information about the life cycle of the salmon, which is a kind of large fish. Overall, salmon life cycle could be separate into three stages, which are fry, smelt and adult salmon.
At beginning, adult salmons lay eggs under the reeds and small stones at upper river with slow flowing, staying at upper river for approximately 5 to 6 months. While fries, new-born salmons with 3 to 8-centimeter-long, come out from the salmon eggs, they would go down to the fast-moving lower river, living there for about 4 years.
The smolts then go downstream to the open sea after they alternating to the stage of 'smolt', the 12 to 15-centimetre-long little salmon. They stay at the ocean for 5 years, while they turns to the next stage ' adult salmons'. After the periods, they grow up as the adult, with approximately 70 to 76-centimeter-long bodies. The mature salmons, meanwhile, go back to the upper river and lay eggs and the life cycle start again.
