Given are two graphs comparing the rates of secondary and tertiary education among male and female in different parts of the world. While the lowest proportion for the two genders is in Sub-Saharan Africa in both graphs, Europe has been the region having the highest proportion for both genders.
In contrast with nearly 100% female and 90% male having secondary education in adolescence in Europe, the figures for male and female in East Asia are by far lower, at approximate 45% and 47%, respectively. Similarly, the differences are also significant when comparing the proportion of teenagers educated in secondary schools between Latin America region and SSA region, stating around 47% and 45% for female and male in Latin America, respectively, to only 19% and 9% for the two genders in SSA.
With regard to higher education of adult, the bar chart has revealed a remarkably lower proportion of population in those regions generally. It is worth noting that the percentages of adult having higher education are not significantly different in SSA, Latin America and East Asia, which are roughly 29%, 23% and 26% for male, respectively, and remaining the same at 19% for female in the first two listed regions then slightly being higher in East Asia, at around 25%. In contrast, the figures for adult in Europe are much more higher, reach nearly 41% for male and 49% for female.
