The graph below shows the amounts of waste produced by three
companies over a period of 15 years.
The given line graph details the statistical survey describing how much quantity of waste(in tonnes) is produced by three given companies namely A, B, and C over a period of 15 years from 2000 to 2015.
Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that over time a reverse trend was witnessed in the amount of waste produced by all the three companies. Although the company A was producing the maximum waste at the start, with the passing time, company C overrode company A in the same.
According to the given illustration, to begin with, company A led the chart by contributing about 12 tonnes of the waste in the environment as compared to company B( just below 9 tonnes), and company C, who made nearly 4 tonnes of the waste. However, in the next 5 years, whilst company A slacked down by a tonne, company B and C rose substantially to 10 tonnes and 6 tonnes respectively.
Further, despite company A continued to plummet to a low of just 8 tonnes in a decade, company C experienced a significant increase before surpassing company C by dramatically rising to a peak of approximately 10 tonnes. In contrast, followed by a sharp plunge, company B fell below company C to the lowest of 3 tonnes by the period end.
