The line graph compares the amount of fish and some different kinds of meat have been consumed in a European country from 1979 to 2004.
It is obvious that fish provided the lowest consumption each year. Over the first 10 years, beef is dominated in consumption but chicken provided the highest over the period of 15 years later.
Between 1979 and 2004, chicken consumption went up dramatically from around 140 grams per person per week to 250 grams per person per week. By contrast, lamp eaten declined to approximately 60 grams per person per week. During the same period, the fish consumption had no change over the period shown, but the figure for the beef consumption fluctuated sharply over 25 years.
By 1979, beef is the primary consumable source which provided around 220 grams per person per week. The chicken consumption is lower than the figure for the lamp consumed, but it rapidly overtook the lamp just one year later. The fish was by far the least popular consumption, with figures 60 grams per person per week.
