Overall, there was a gradually decline in totally by the time. But especially that the industry decreased significantly.
In the year 1990, the amount of air pollution in transport were the same as that households under million tonne. While the amount of air pollution in the industry were higher than that five times. Over next six years, they saw a enormous drop in industry around 2.5 million tonnes. By contrast, the polluting air in transport provided a negligible amount while the households declined minimally.
From 1996 to 2005, the air pollutants in industry and households fell continuously respective 3 and a half million tonnes. Furthermore, the trend was predicted decrease steadily. Also, the amount of air pollutants in transport went fluctuated.
