the graph illustrates how people in asia, europe, united state used money in 5 types of entertainment in 1995 and 2000.

overall, the amount of money which spent on entertainment in asia is the smallest while this figure is the highest in US.

in US, total entertainment expense was 184 billion dollars in 1995 compared to 257 billion of dollars in 2000. additionally,publishing always dominated the largest part in both 2 years, about 75 and 125 billion of dollars in 1995 and 2000 respectively. beside, the smallest part is cinema, about 10 billion of dollars.

in asia, about 25 billion of dollars which is the amount of money used in publishing in 1995, slightly higher than this figure in television segment, around 20 billion of dollars. and cinema was still the segment which people spent the least money. however, in 2000, television contributed approximately 50 billion of dollars compared to about 40 billion of dollars of publishing and 10 billion of dollars of cinema.

in europe, similarly, the expense of publishing and television was 75 and 100 billion of dollars compared to just 25 billion of dollars in music video and cinema in both 1995,2000.
