The graphs shows the number of queries landed at tourist information office for a period of six months in 2011 in a single city.
Primarily, it is evident that number of inquiries raised drastically in the month of May and June upto 1900 approximately as compared to year start jan where the numbers remain between 400 to 800 only.
The given analysis shows three mediums people have used to put up their queries to the office i.e. In-Person, by letter/email and by telephone. The number of queries differ in all three channels such as in January, in-person inquiries started from 400 and rose to maximum in June. Similarly, the number of queries by the telephone started from 900 in January and rose to 1600 in June. However, people inquired through letter/email dropped from 700 in January to 300 in June which is a significant drop.
It is obvious from the graph that people tend to visit tourist places mostly in the months of April, May and June, owing to summer vacations.
