The graph below shows the percentage of people by age group visiting the cinema at least once per month in one particular country between 1978 and 2008. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph illustrates how many people who went to the movies monthly in a specific nation are divided into four distinctive age groups from 1978 to 2008.
Overall, there was an increase in the proportion of people aged 35-49 and over 50 visiting the cinema, with the minor rise being seen in the latter. In contrast, two remained age groups experienced a decrease in the percentage of people going to the theatre.
Looking at the chart in more detail, in 1978, among the four age groups, the contribution of people aged 35-49 and over 50 catching a movie was the smallest partners, with negligible figures of 60% and 40%, respectively. Thereafter, the figure for both age groups saw a slight decline by 10% each in 1988, before significantly increasing by 20% each in 1998. In 2008, people aged 35-49 and over 50 mostly maintained a marginal presence in the percentage of people visiting the cinema, at nearly 70% and 50%, respectively.
With regard to the remaining countries, in the first year, young people were the leading number of people going to the movies, with roughly 90%, compared to people aged 25-34, only 80%. In the following years, the figure for young people mostly remained unchanged before slightly decreasing to around 89% in 2008. Similarity, the rate of people aged 25-34 visiting the cinema underwent a fluctuation throughout the period, declining slightly to 88% at the end of the period.
