Overall, it is clear that the large number of the uk prisoners is men and at a glance at the line chart revealed some similarity between the age group in both sexes committing higher crimes.
Increasing from 2% at age 10-year old to the highest figure (16%) at 20-year old, men prisoners then declines exponentially of about 8% in the age of 25 to 40 years old. This followed by a plateau at the age 45-year old, then at the elderly period dropping considerably to about similar number that of initial age. The women criminal convictions, meanwhile, commences at null per cent in 10-year old, reaching the peak to somewhat in the vicinity 5% in the 20s, followed by a steady fall at the age of 25 to 50 years old and finishing at 0% in 60s.
Moving to the proportion of criminal prisoners based on the gender reveals that the majority of the crimes are men (96%), while the women share the remaining number.
